Founded in 2004, Jetstar Asia Airways is a low-cost carrier airline headquartered in Singapore. It is the Asian branch of Jetstar Airways, a subsidiary of the Australian airline known as Qantas Airlines. Jetstar Asia Airways has a few sister airlines. These include Jetstar in New Zealand, Jetstar Pacific in Vietnam and Jetstar Japan. Jetstar Asia Airways carries out passenger flights from its operating site in Changi Airport (SIN) to regional destinations in Southeast Asia including Myanmar, Cambodia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam. Also, Jetstar Asia Airways offers air services to regional destinations in Japan, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. Jetstar Asia Airways is the most prominent feeder airline, an airline that brings passengers to hub areas from areas that are not accessed by a large carrier. The aim of Jetstar Asia Airways is to offer its passengers low-priced tickets at all times and on all occasions.
