At Vueling flights, there are 3 different fares: Basic, Optima and Excellence.

Basic

Optima

Policy for Baggage :

Checked Bags:

• Each passenger can check in maximum of 3 bags. The maximum weight of a bag can be 23 kgs.
• If your checked bag has more weight than the aforementioned weight, you will be charged 12.00 euros per every kg that has exceeded the limit. The maximum limit of a checked bag in such a case can be 32kgs.
• One a bag has been checked by the Vueling Airlines security, it cannot be canceled. This means, the money cannot be refunded.
• Passengers can only carry smart luggage in checked or hand baggage, if the batteries have been removed. The passenger is allowed to carry the batteries, which can be 100 Wh or less in the cabin.
• If a passenger has opted for a connecting flight, the more limited fare of the two companies will be applied to the passenger.

Hand Luggage:

• Each passenger during a flight with Vueling Airlines can carry one piece of hand luggage. Along with that, a passenger can also carry a small bag that can easily be placed under the seat in the front of passenger.
• If you are travelling with a baby, you can carry the food of baby that he/she might need during the flight. The containers of the food should not exceed the limit of 100ml. You don’t need to necessarily seal the food. Similarly, passengers are advised to keep nappies for babies in the hand luggage, and a warm piece of cloth to cover the baby in case of air conditioning.
• The hand bag cannot be heavier than 10 kg.
• The dimensions of a hand bag cannot be larger than 55*40*20 cm.
• The additional bag that a passenger can carry cannot exceed the limit of 35*20*20 cm.
• If the weight of the bag exceeds the limit of 10 kgs, it will be checked in at an additional cost.

Luggage Insurance:

• Vueling Airlines understands the concerns of its passengers and offers the option of luggage insurance. The luggage insurance options covers you in case your bag is lost, damaged or stolen.
• Merely by paying 9 euros per bag, passengers can get their luggage insured. The luggage insurance policy will cover cases such as: tracing and locating your luggage, covering expenses as a result of damaged bag or delay of luggage etc.

Vueling Club:

The frequent flyer programme of Vueling is known as Vueling Club. The members of Vueling Club can earn and redeem Avios for fare discounts and award flights on Vueling and IAG Airlines’ including: Aer Lingus, Air Italy, Iberia, Level, Flybe and British Airways and Oneworld Airlines alliance partners. Before Vueling Club, Punto (a Spanish word for point) that was the original programme of Vueling was in practice. Punto was similar to Vueling Club as it allowed the account holders to earn and redeem the points they earned by flying with Vueling flights.

VIP Lounges

Vueling provides its passengers with the opportunity to relax in a calm atmosphere while they are waiting for their flights. The VIP lounges offer rest area, computers with internet access, lockers, magazines and newspapers, WiFi, disabled access, catering, kids’ area, meeting room, television, entertainment area and showers. To avail the services of VIP lounges, passengers have to add this service while they are booking their Vueling flights.

Seat Selection

Vueling Airlines offers four types of seating options to its passengers, which include:

• Space One: The seat is in the front row. It has 20% more space than the rest of seats.
• Space Plus: These seats are located between rows 2 to rows 4. These seats offer 10% more space than regular seats.
• Space: With these seats, you get 20% more room for your legs and feet.
• Front and Back rows: These seats do not have any extra space or room. They are for thrifty travelers.

Priority Boarding

• Vueling Airlines offers the option of Priority Boarding to its customers. By selecting this option, passengers do not have to wait in queues at the gate.
• The staff at gate will ask the passengers if they are with priority boarding and let them board the plane first.
• Passengers are requested to reach the boarding gate on time so that they can be amongst the first passengers to board it.
• Passengers can add priority boarding options during the purchase process.

Policy for Travelling with Children

• Vueling flights consider babies to be children if they are between the ages of 7 days to 2 years. If a passenger is travelling with a baby, he/she will have to sit on the passenger’s lap.
• A passenger can also travel with two babies, as long as one of the babies is at least 18 months old. In such a case, he/she needs to have a ticket and can should sit in an approved car seat in his/her own seat.
• Children who are aged between 2 to 15 years of age, come under the category of child category and will need to purchase a ticket to fly as they will be sitting in their own seat during the flight.

Policy for Expectant Mothers

• Vueling Airlines allow expectant mothers to fly with them up to 27 weeks of pregnancy. Passengers do not need a medical certificate for the travelling in such a case.
• If a pregnant woman is between week 28 to 35, they are required to bring original medical authorization that permits them to fly. The authority paper is expected to include its period of validity, and the name of doctor’s medical board.
• If a woman is more than 36 weeks pregnant, the policies of Vueling Airlines do not allow them to fly for safety and health reasons of both the expectant mother and the unborn child.

Policy for Special Needs Passengers

• Passengers who have special needs can request the airport assistance service from Vueling flights.
• All passengers who are travelling in a wheelchair, have an impaired sight or hearing, have limbs in plaster casts or have intellectual disability can request for the assistance.
• The airport assistance will accompany the special needs passengers at all times, right from check-in through to their seat on the plane

Change of Flight

• Passengers can modify the time and date of your flight up to 2 hours before your departure.
• It can be done via Vueling’s’ official website, mobile application or Customer Service Centre.
• Passengers can also select TimeFlex fare, by paying 7.50 euros per passenger, passengers can avail this service.
• With TimeFlex Fare, passengers can change their flights as many times as they want without having to pay any extra money.
• If a passenger fails to reach the airport in time, with Missed flight cover from Vueling, passengers will be able to recover the money they paid for the booking and be reassigned to a new available flight.
