Cabin Baggage for Economy Class

• Passengers are allowed to have on carry-on free of charge however, it must not exceed 56cm X45cm X25cm in dimension.
• It cannot exceed 8kg in weight.
• It should fit in the baggage sizer.
• Passengers are also allowed to carry 1 personal item such as a women's or men's handbag or thin laptop case that can fit under the seat.

Cabin Baggage for Business Class

• Passengers can have two carry-on bags but cannot exceed 56cm X 45cm X25cm in dimensions.
• They cannot exceed 8kg and 5kg in weight respectively.
• Should be able to fit in the sizer.
• Passengers are also allowed to have 1 carry-on bag instead of two that could weigh up to 13kg.
• Passengers are also allowed to carry 1 personal item such as a women's or men's handbag or thin laptop case that can fit under the seat.

Infants can have their car seat or collapsible stroller at no charge.

Aegean Airlines has charges for extra pieces of luggage or overweight baggage which are as follows.

Check-In

• Aegean Airlines allows self-check in at the airport 24 hours to 30 minutes before the flight departure time using self service kiosks at the airport. Passengers can validate their information in 4 ways:
  • By inserting the credit card used to pay for ticket
  • By inserting Aegean Miles+bonus frequent flyer card
  • By inserting passport
  • By keying in the number of e-ticket
• The passengers have to be at the airport gate 30 minutes before departure time with ID and passports.
• Business class passengers can check in the luggage at special check in counters at the airports.
• In connecting flights, passengers can check in luggage at the point of departure and pick it up at the final destination.
• Using Aegean Airlines application on smart phone or tablet, passengers can check in online 48 hours to 30 minutes before the flight.

Selecting Seats

Aegean Airlines allows passengers to select any from the three different seat types: extra legroom, up front and standard. Up front and extra legroom seats can be booked at the time of ticket reservation. There are separate charges depending on routes for flight types for prebooking the Up front and extra legroom seats.

Travelling with Infants & Children

Aegean Airlines only allows adult travelers to have the same seat type if they are also booking it for their children. Additionally, families with children or infant cannot opt for emergency exit seat.

Changes & refunds for Economy Class Reserved Seats

Passengers can get a refund for a booked seat but the difference will be charged if the new seat's price is higher.
