A Hollywood landmark since 1927, the hotel is reborn with the passion and style of the 1920's, honouring the hotel's past while embracing its future in the new world of Hollywood. The hotel is Hollywood's only historic hotel still in operation today, having just celebrated its 75th anniversary with a $15 million renovation. The home of the very first Academy Awards (1929) was built as a glamorous gathering place and hotel for the screen colony and is located directly on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The hotel was designed and built on sprawling strawberry fields as a benchmark of glamour and elegance for celebrities and travellers alike. Guests can be a part of history and stay in one of the hotel's 302 stylish modern guestrooms. A laundry service is available at the hotel for a fee.
