Eritrean Airlines is the national flag carrier of Eritrea and is wholly owned by the government. It was established in 1991 and it launched operations in April 2003. It is headquartered in Asmara and Asmara International Airport is the main operational hub.
Eritrean Airlines is a member of the International Air Transport Association(IATA), and The International Civil Aviation Organization(ICAO). Eritrean Airline has one leased aircraft and it offers air services to five destinations in the Middle East, Arabian Gulf and Asia.
