The hotel was originally built in 1912 and opened as the Historic Multnomah Hotel. LobbyThe grand lobby was restored to its original grandeur in 1997 when the hotel reopened as the Embassy Suites. As its most memorable feature, this enormous lobby showcases high ceilings with an overlooking mezzanine area, marble pillars with gold leafing as well as an intricate pattern on the ceiling created by a master craftsmen in 1912.
