This is a good privately owned and welcoming Hotel on the outskirts of Kendal, with modern levels of comfort, ample free car parking and leisure facilities including Pool and spa bath. Situated in the picturesque old market town of Kendal in the south of the Lake District. Good access from the M6 with the hotel being only 10 minutes drive from Junction 36.
The hotel is steeped in history having originally been built as an orphanage for young girls in the 1850's. It is traditional in design and made from locally quarried stone.
