The Red Lion is situated in the centre of Colchester and is less than an hour from London by train and within very easy reach of Stansted Airport.
Built in 1465 the hotel retains its original design of an old Coaching Inn. The exterior has a traditional Tudor frontage (as does the interior) and it is one of the oldest Inns in East Anglia and deserving of it's Grade I listed status.
