In the very heart of Baeza, near the town hall, this restored 16th-century mansion is one of the best places in town to spend the night. There is much Andalusian character here, and a strong Moorish influence as seen in the blue tiles and stones. Naturally, there\'s an interior patio with a bubbling fountain. More than any other place in town, you get the feeling of really living in a noble Andalusian house of some long departed don. The attractively decorated and comfortably furnished bedrooms are midsize. In 2005 Palacete Santa Ana added 13 units by acquiring three houses that once belonged to the owners of the mansion. The three houses were built in the 16th century, and like the mansion, were restored. Each room is distinctively decorated according to one of many styles present in Andalusia since the 16th century. The town\'s attractions and some good restaurants are nearby.
