The ARK is a Tourist hotel. Located in Aberdare National Park area. Shopping is accessible by bus/taxi and the nightlife/restaurants are easily accessible by taxi or bus from the hotel.
The lodge offers 60 guest rooms, all en-suite. 9 triple-bedded State Cabins, 45 Twin/Double-bedded State Cabins, 5 single-bedded State Cabins and 1 single-bedded courier cabins. All cabins have bedside lamps and carpeted floors to ward off the evening and morning chill, small luggage racks and views of the forest or waterhole revealing game in the proximity. Guests can enjoy a combination of European and Kenyan dishes, made from an abundance of fresh Kenyan produce. The tree-lodge is designed with decks from which numerous balconies and lounges provide superb vantage points for viewing the animals visiting the salt-lick and waterhole.
