These family friendly bed & breakfast apartments are housed in a building dating from 1860, and were renovated in 2006. There are a total of 65 units available and the property features lift access, bicycle hire (charges apply) and parking (charges apply). Each room has its own personality, history and furniture, but all offer a common standard of good basic furniture, cleanliness, and peace and quiet, including a king-size or double bed and central heating. All apartments are equipped with coffee making and basic kitchen facilities. Some rooms have private bathrooms and the cheaper ones offer a shared bathroom. Breakfast is served to guests each morning.
This establishment is located in the heart of Rome, a few steps from main train station and important monuments such as the Colloseum (800 m). Guests will find restaurants, bars and shops within 100 m. It is also very well linked to bus and subway networks, allowing guests to reach the Vatican (5 km) or the Spanish Steps (1.2 km) in just minutes. The nearest beach is 20 km away at Ostia and it is 280 km to Florence. Both Ciampino and Fiumicino Airports are 35 km away. Guests coming from Leonardo da Vinci airport by public transport should take the Leonardo Express shuttle to Termini railway station, or use the bus service. From the station, take the left-hand exit (Giolitti) and after reaching Piazza di Santa Maria Maggiore, turn left into Via Merulana and, keeping right, walk for 1 minute. Turn right into Via di S. Martino ai Monti, and a few metres further on, turn left into Via Domenichino. Those coming by car should follow signs to the centre (centro) and arrive at Termini Station. Once there, go around Santa Maria Maggiore, and take Via Merulana. Park the car in the street, or ask at the hotel for nearby garage parking.
