As this hotel overlooks the Sabarmati River, its 49 rooms and suites offer scenes of the beautiful water apart from city views. Cama Hotel, built way back in 1960, also offers its guests various luxury facilities including a travel desk (which offers ticketing and sightseeing arrangements), a swimming pool, a gym and even a liquor shop. The lawns are well-manicured and there is free parking available. But the hotel is most appreciated for its good location while the Sidi Saiyad Mosque is less than a kilometre away, Sabarmati Ashram and the Kite Museum are also close-by. As for dining, head to La Vista for a multi-cuisine experience with beautiful river views, panelled walls and a sandstone fireplace.
