Malindo Air is a privately owned airline by Lion Air Group, Indonesia’s biggest low-cost carrier. It is headquartered in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia and it operates out of its operating hub Malaysia International Airport (KUL). The name of the airline ‘Malindo’ is an abbreviation of Malaysia and Indonesia and it indicates the cooperation between the two countries. Malindo Air is a member of the International Air Transport Association and it has obtained IOSA registration. It operates over 800 flights weekly across 42 routes in Asia and Australia continents.
