About Malindo Air
Malindo Air was founded in 2012 and commenced operations in 2013. It is a full-service low-cost airline and due to the impressive in-light facilities offered it is categorized as a hybrid airline. Malindo Air is a privately owned airline by Lion Air Group, Indonesia’s biggest low-cost carrier. It is headquartered in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia and it operates out of its operating hub Malaysia International Airport (KUL). The name of the airline ‘Malindo’ is an abbreviation of Malaysia and Indonesia and it indicates the cooperation between the two countries. Malindo Air is a member of the International Air Transport Association and it has obtained IOSA registration. It operates over 800 flights weekly across 42 routes in Asia and Australia continents.

Interline Agreement
Malindo Air signed an interline agreement with Turkish Airlines in recent times in order to make travel between ASEAN and Europe more convenient by providing passengers with the opportunity to find easier connections. Moreover, Qatar Airways also became an interline partner of Malindo Air.
