Built in 1924 by the local citizens. First bridge to cross the Missouri River in South Dakota. Hike or bike thru the many area trails. Trail head to Paddlewheel Point - 0.4 miles along the river. Auld-Brokaw Trail - 2.75 miles thru the city, linking parks, schools, and the Rotary Nature Area. Lewis & Clark Lake Trail - 6.9 miles thru wooded areas , beaches, boat docks, all with beautiful views of the lake. Gavins Point Nature Trail - 1.2 miles thru native woods, meadows and scenic overlooks. Great area to see Bald Eagles and the many wonders of nature. Fishing, sking, boating on Lake. Ice fishing for the "die hard" fisherman. Snowmobile trails. Paddlefishing is best in October.
