Sudan Airways is the national flag carrier of Sudan. It is headquartered in Khartoum and its main hub for operations is located in Khartoum International Airport. It also has secondary operating center in Port Sudan New International Airport. Founded in 1947, it is the oldest African and Arabian airline. It is a founding member of the African Airlines Association (AFRAA), a member of Arab Air Carriers Organization (AACO), the International Air Transport Association (IATA), and International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
